Homes Overseas has been the voice of authority for British buyers of overseas property for more than 40 years. As Homes Overseas magazine and www.homesoverseas.co.uk guide prospective buyers through the ever-growing maze of overseas property information, so a Homes Overseas Award has become a recognised seal of approval for buyers seeking investments that offer them peace of mind.
The Awards scheme is now in its fifth year, and includes country-specific categories for 18 of the most popular destinations currently attracting interest from the British market, as well as a further 10 specialist categories open to developments located anywhere in the world. This year's Awards will be bigger than ever, acknowledging the truly global nature of the overseas property market.
But what is it that makes the Homes Overseas Awards special? Uniquely, our judges will visit every shortlisted development to assess it first-hand. As the only awards scheme in the international property industry to do this, only the Homes Overseas Awards can offer potential buyers this unrivalled seal of approval. Glossy marketing material and super-realistic computer-generated images are not enough to win a Homes Overseas Award.
No development or property is too small or too large to win – each entry is assessed on its own merits, and previous winners have come from destinations as diverse as Belize, Botswana, China and Oman.
The judging panel comprises respected professionals from across the industry. A special Readers’ Choice award will also be presented to the development deemed in the eyes of Homes Overseas’ readers – your buyers – to be the most desirable in the world.
With the judging process complete, the winning entries will be announced on Friday, 17 October 2008 at a glittering black tie gala dinner in the Ballroom of The Grosvenor House Hotel on London’s Park Lane. The ceremony will be attended by respected industry professionals and will culminate in the presentation of the special handmade trophy for 'Homes Overseas Developer of the Year 2008'.
Finalists in all categories will receive publicity in Homes Overseas magazine and on www.homesoverseas.co.uk both before and after the event.
If you are a property developer and you would like to generate more interest in your product, either at home or from the overseas market, the Homes Overseas Awards offers you a unique opportunity to celebrate being the best in the business. If you believe your development is a potential award winner, you should be entering.
