The Move Channel is a privately owned global portal with a strong focus on investment and overseas property. It was set up in 1999 and now has over 20 country-specific sub-sites. Advertising is offered on a commission-share or pay-per-lead basis.
Property Index was launched in September 2007 by a team of internet entrepreneurs. The venture is backed by Darren Richards, the founder of Dating Direct, which sold recently for £27.3 million.

Homes Overseas was launched as a property search portal in September 2005 and was re-launched in January 2008 following a major re-design. Formerly owned by Blendon Communications, the site is now operated by Globespan Media, part of Trinity Mirror Group, since June 2007.
FindaProperty.com launched in 1997 and was bought out in 2004 by Associated Newspapers, which owns UK national newspaper titles the Daily Mail and The Mail On Sunday as well as the Evening Standard and Metro in London.
Founded as a Costa del Sol specialist in 1999, and still based in Estepona, Escapes2 has expanded to cover a number of countries worldwide. The site is dedicated to investment and off-plan properties and developers wishing to advertise must undergo a due diligence process.
Propertyfinder is one of the UK’s oldest property portals, having started life in 1995. In November 2005 it was bought by News International (owners of The Times, Sunday Times, The Sun, timesonline.co.uk) and realestate.com.au, Australia’s largest property portal.
