UAE: Exhibitor numbers could be down 85% at Cityscape
The number of exhibitors at Cityscape Dubai appears to have fallen up to 85 percent year-on-year, according to a report from Maktoob.
Dubai’s largest property exhibition is set to take place next month with 141 exhibitors, down from 954 last year say Maktoob who calculated the figures by comparing the exhibitor list last year with the list of exhibitors on this year’s website.
A Cityscape spokeswoman said the 2009 exhibitor list on the website is not up-to-date, but could not provide Maktoob with the latest version.
Cityscape runs from October 5th to 8th. The organizers recently predicted visitor numbers would be
down 30% this year and the
UAE’s largest developers have dithered over whether or not to attend.
