Tiger Woods Resort back on track...despite everything

Tiger Woods Resort back on track...despite everything
Tiger Woods may have lost his sponsorship deals with AT&T, Accenture and Proctor & Gamble but he at least his golf resort and luxury home complex are going ahead as planned.

Dubai Properties Group planned to finish the complex in September 2009 but was hit by the double whammy of Dubai’s property crash and revelations of Tiger sleeping with 11 women, other than his wife.

Speaking to Bloomberg, Dubai Properties Group Chief Executive Officer Khalid Al Malik said “We haven’t decided yet on a date for its completion or delivery to the market, but the project is ongoing”.

Plans for the 55 million-square-foot development include 287 luxury villas and mansions, a boutique hotel and a clubhouse.  There has been some speculation (admittedly mainly in our office) that the architecture plans have been revised recently so they include 11 phallus-shaped towers.

We were unable to reach Mr Woods to confirm or deny the rumour.
