Unfortunately another media foray into a company that offers a superb service to the industry and clients alike. Having worked for some time in the formation of large Agent networks I can understand Harlequin’s stance, sometimes it can only take one unsubstantiated negative comment to damage a companies reputation.

I'd be interested to know how many, of all the investors who have asked for a refund and been "offered" it, have actually received it.
The article was very poorly written but Dave Ames is quite right when he points out Harlequin aren't perfect. It's going to be an exciting year for Harlequin and their investors, hopefully for the rigth reasons.

The overseas property market is having a hard time at the moment without the media putting out false information. Over the past twenty or so years that we have been selling abroad the media always looked to us for advertising but now seem that they are not happy unless they find something adverse about our industry.. The market is showing signs of recovery, albeit small but enquiries need to come first, which they are before we can arrange an Inspection Visit.. Remember a lot of people look to the overseas market for their living , so the media should beware as we have long memories. They should work with us not against.us.

The Guardian should know better, the Caribbean is having a tough enough time having to exist on declining tourism figures and a declining banana industry to be battered in such a manner. I take my hat off to David Ames, he has worked tirelessly to develop the tourism industry here.
