Properazzi rebrand as Enormo
International property portal Properazzi has changed its name to Enormo. According to CEO Yannick Laclau, the name Properazzi was initially chosen for its cute play on words and it was the "...best name available at the time. However, as the site grew and the focus changed, the name wasn't consistent with who we were becoming," he says.

Laclau admits that there have been some issues with the name being difficult to remember and spell which have become particularly apparent as they launched multiple language versions of the site. "Although it makes you smile the first time you hear it, the new name is simple and positions us perfectly as the world's biggest property portal," he says.

Back in the early days, when I’d only just heard of it, I remember searching in vain on Google for Properazzi with names like “Propzilla”. Enormo is a much better name and one that is easier to recall, especially now they target consumers in 32 languages. It's a shame they didn't launch with it as they've spent a considerable sum on PR and marketing, but hindsight is wonderful thing! It’s a good site with a unique point of difference in a crowded market. In the long run I'm sure the costs of rebranding the site will be well worth the expense.
