We have over the last twenty years or so said house sales in Spain mirror the UK. We have at the moment properties that represent excellent value which investors are taking advantage of but the UK public are still waiting for prices to go even lower because of Press speculation which doesen't help the market place at all. The Euro has dropped apprximately 20% over the last three years and prices have dropped by approximately another 10%. Registerred agents are pricing properties at realistic prices but because the press are sying prices have dropped 50% purchasers are looking to offer 50% off the advertised p[rice which is incorrect. Agents need to price properties at a realistic price to make a sale but will not if clients continually offer stupid prices.
