Kyero launches Russian website
Spanish property portal, Kyero.com has launched a
Russian language site featuring over 100,000 Spanish properties. Agents listing on the site in English benefit by having their basic property listings translated automatically into Russian at no extra cost. Kyero is also offering a point and click
translation tool to help agents translate more detailed property descriptions.
The new Russian site complements their English, Spanish, Dutch, French and Danish sites, which operate a similar translation model. Managing Director, Martin Dell says: “Kyero.com has experienced a significant increase in enquiry levels from French, Dutch, German and Danish-speaking buyers, and our new Russian-language site aims to achieve the same result with Russian buyers.”
Tough conditions in traditional markets
“In the current market conditions, estate agents in Spain need as much help as they can get,” continues Dell. The traditional
“dream chaser” overseas property buyers are thin on the ground in the UK and Ireland. Other Northern European economies are also slowing which could mean more limited opportunities for selling to Scandinavian and Dutch buyers than many expect.
Russia looks like a genuine exception. The Kremlin recently raised annual
GDP growth forecasts to 7.1%, there is a growing middle class and consumer confidence is high. However, there are currently limited options for agents wishing to target Russia. Russian expert
Ivalio Jordanov outlines some of the options in our recent interview. The new Kyero.com site is a welcome addition. Expect other portals to follow - you’ll be the first to know when they do.
