Is Google moving into the mortgage market?
An interesting legal case in North Carolina alleges that Mortech Inc, a technology firm which owns advanced mortgage pricing and lead management software is passing information to Google, contravening an agreement with Lending Tree, an online mortgage comparison service.
The case will fuel speculation that Google is about to launch its own mortgage comparison site and will square up to competitors such as Lending Tree in the US and Money Supermarket in the UK.
In mature internet markets like the US and UK, there is finite growth to had for Google’s core Adwords business. In order to grow revenue Google appears to be pursuing a
portal strategy in verticals including real estate.

This info could be true. Google is facing very stiff competition with AdWords platform which became simply money pit for most advertisers especially in real estate. I have advertised my website http://www.naplesrealestateseller.com with AdWords for several months without any siginificant results or subscribers on the website.
I had to employ CPC competitors to get more visitors who sign up.
