ICREA to launch networking service for 2.1 million agents
The International Consortium of Real Estate Associations (ICREA) has announced the relaunch of its business-to-business portal Worldproperties.com with the aim of improving networking between its 2.1 million members.

ICREA which represents national associations such as the NAEA in the UK and NAR in the US will use the technology from real estate networking site Proxio.com as the platform for its new site. Basic networking will be free but agents will be asked to pay a small subscription to upload their properties onto the system.

ICREA CEO Thijs Stoffer told Global edge: “Proxio have a great product set and the new site offers our 2.1 million members the ability to network easily with other agents all in one place”.

The site will launch in 12 languages including English, German, Spanish and French in the second quarter of 2010.

User Comments

This is very good news but it's a pitty there is no Belgian association member of the ICREA! Our company is based in Belgium and is searching for luxury new developments already constructed or under construction.

Great news, please keep me posted on developments.
