Search marketing giant Google has adjusted its algorithm to give greater prominence to local businesses, a move which should benefit estate agents.

They ought to clean up Google Places first. It's a mess with companies cramming keywords into their titles in order to get listed higher in the search results, yet Google clearly state this is not permitted. I hope they penalise the companies breaking the rules and reward companies that play by the rules...
