Globrix launches in Ireland

Globrix launches in Ireland
UK property portal, Globrix launches into the Irish market today claiming to be the first free-to-list portal in the Republic of Ireland.

The News International owned company is introducing the same business model it uses in the UK market.

Basic listings are free and a limited number of agents can upgrade in their area to receive extra visibility and branding to give them an edge over the competition.

Globrix has done well in the UK market reaching number 4 position in the market according to recent ComScore figures. The site will compete against the market leader Daft.ie and number two player Myhome.ie.

It’s a small market with entrenched competition. It’s a difficult ask but the result if it’s successful should be cheaper prices for agents and developers.
