Developer offers commissions on credit notes
One of the UAE’s largest developers, Emaar Properties is to offer real estate agents commission payments on sales transacted with its credit notes.

Emirates Business reports that if a client already has a credit note from Emaar and he buys a unit through us in any one of their projects, then we are entitled to get a commission from the developer.

Agents will be entitled to 100% of the payable commission provided that the credit note does not exceed 50 per cent of the net property value.

A significant number of credit notes have been issued by the company on already paid installments on delayed or cancelled properties.

This is one of a number of schemes by developers in the UAE to improve transaction volumes and aid cash flow
