Properazzi launches into US with new design
Properazzi.com, the world’s largest property portal, is making its first foray into the North American market with the addition of nearly half a million US properties, including over 5,000 in Florida. The launch corresponds with a re-design of the search interface which aims to simplify and “take the personality out of the search process”.
Properazzi has partnered with magazine and online publisher
Network Communications Inc, which owns brands such as
The Real Estate Book and
New Home Finder. To bolster content in New York, they have recruited luxury real estate broker
Halstead Property.
The launch potentially gives agents in North America a free (or cheap, depending on the option you take) channel to reach overseas investors. “International buyers are finding the US real estate market appealing for its long-term stability and increasingly affordable prices, so entering the American market is the next logical step for us,” says Properazzi CEO, Yannick Laclau.
The move, with time, should increase the number of US consumers on the site searching for international property which is a plus for overseas agents keen to reach this market. Getting traction in the US will be tough but they have a unique proposition with good PR potential and they have already been accepted into the hard-to-convince
real estate blog community.
