British agents were conspicuous by their absence at what one agent has called the “biggest and best networking event in residential property”.

i dont know if its only the economic gloom that is creating problems with these shows, could be social networking is taking over this world too, nowadays you can find most of what you want in that context online. I know its unlikely to feel the same as a show, however with time and money premium resources attending these places in person has to lead to choices and if all were attended it would be a full time job.
