Despite a wet weekend and the sleuth of recent negative press stories about the UK property market, A Place in the Sun Live at Birmingham’s NEC got the autumn exhibition season off to solid start.

Nice to see some honest comments about the show.

We had considered doing this exhibition, but thought the level of negative news recently would adversely impact the number of visitors.

A 5% rise from last year is pretty encouraging, however the real acid test is the actual number of people who buy as a direct result of attending the show. Laying your hands on this information would be next to impossible though!
